I love how clear BTS’ latest performances are and how they are starting to ditch the backing tracks more, or at least make them quieter!! Cos us army have known since debut that BTS can sing live and while dancing so well, they have always been so stable. But those unfamiliar and haters always use the backing track as an excuse and “proof” that they are “lip-syncing”. Now they have zero reason to make these claims!! I hope non-army and non-Kpop fans now know that BTS sings lives all the time!

The lyrics of this song are so meaningful, It's talking about a Japanese comic/cartoon character called "anpanman" which is a Japanese hero, that's based on some type bread, and how its still a hero even thought it doesn't have any powers and its only a piece of bakery. The song uses anpanman as an example of why no one needs to be special or have unique things to change the world or help people.

J-hope at the centre position made the entire group choreography looks so much better on the overall. His dance is just perfection from the subtle details to his sharp and on point execution to facial expression. Watching him perform is a blessing. Made the song ten times better too.

For those of you who don't know anpanman is a Japanese word meaning red bean bread man the world's weakest superhero based on a Japanese kids show that doesn't have powers, but is a kind hero who helps those in need and gives to hungry people pieces of his face which is made out of red bean bread So they want to not really compare themselves to anpanman but sing songs and all to give hope to others BTS stays true with the message: rather than being a hero just because you're strong, you can be a hero if you're weak

I’ve never noticed how controlled Namjoon’s verse is, I have watched this video so many times and yet I have never realised how skilled Namjoon’s sing/rap is. He performs it steadily whilst dancing, it sounding so much like the original. I’m so proud of Namjoon, I love him

Please let us see them perform more to their old songs like this. BTS has such a rich discography with so many amazing songs that definitely hit different than their more recent ones and imo better showcase what they're capable of. I just know the newer fans will enjoy them so much. Also I really hope to see more new songs in the original bangtan style. Will look forward to that for the next album!

Here's a comment I had copied for reference: Anpanman’s story is that he is not a physically strong super hero, and he is made of Anpan (a type of bean bread). Instead of saving people, he gives them a piece of himself (the bread) and it gives them strength to save themselves. So that’s what BTS is saying, that they don’t save us but they give us the strength to save ourselves and be our own hero. 😭😭 💜
